IB score requirements for universities
1. When is the 2023 deadline for applying to JCs?
Applying to JCs is through the Joint Admissions Exercise, which will take place from 3PM on Thursday, 12 January to 4PM on Tuesday, 17 January 2023.
2. How do I apply for a JC through JAE?
Ideally, you should do some research and select the schools and course (IB, A Levels Arts or Science) you are interested in. You may shortlist up to 12 choices and rank them in order of your preference. Explore JC school options at MOE’s SchoolFinder portal.
If you are eligible for any of the Language Elective Programmes, consider if you would like to join, and make sure your choice of schools offer the programme.
When the JAE application window opens, log onto the JAE Internet System using either your Singpass or the JAE PIN provided to you along with your O Level results.
In the system, you will have to check or key in some personal information (identification and contacts), and enter up to 12 choices of schools, in order of preference.
3. When will I know the 2023 JC posting results?
The school posting results will be released on Thursday, 2 February 2023. You will receive the results through SMS if you have provided a local contact number, or you can also view it on the JAE Internet System.
