Third-party service providers that process information on our behalf are expected to use personal data only for authorised purposes and to apply appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

11. Meta, WhatsApp and Third-Party Platforms

Our services may integrate with platforms operated by third parties, including Meta Platforms, Inc. and WhatsApp.

Information transmitted to, received from or independently processed by those companies may also be subject to their own privacy policies, terms and platform rules.

Future Academy does not control how Meta, WhatsApp or other independent third parties process information within their own systems.

The inclusion of an integration or link does not mean that Future Academy controls the privacy practices of the third-party service.

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the transferred data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA, where required by applicable law.

13. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data from:

When personal data is no longer reasonably required, we may securely delete, destroy or anonymise it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

When a business disconnects its WhatsApp Business Account from FAChat, information associated with that account may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for legitimate operational, legal, security or compliance purposes.

Where FAChat processes information solely on behalf of another business, that business may be responsible for responding to your request. In such circumstances, we may direct your request to the relevant business or assist that business where appropriate.

Requests for deletion relating to FAChat or our Meta/WhatsApp integrations may be made in accordance with our Data Deletion Instructions:

https://www.fa.edu.sg/data-deletion/

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity or authority before processing a request.

Certain information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, regulatory or dispute-resolution purposes.

16. Disconnecting a WhatsApp Business Account

A business may request disconnection of its WhatsApp Business Account from FAChat.

Disconnection prevents FAChat from continuing to access the account through the disconnected authorisation, subject to the operation of Meta’s platform and any separately authorised access.

Disconnecting an account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of all previously processed data. Data may continue to be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, operational, security or contractual purposes.

Businesses may contact us for assistance with disconnection or deletion using the details below.

17. Children’s Personal Data

As an education provider, we may process information relating to children and students.

Where appropriate, such information is provided by or collected with the involvement of a parent, guardian, school or other authorised person.

We use children’s personal data only where reasonably necessary to provide educational services, communicate with parents or guardians, fulfil safeguarding responsibilities or meet legal and regulatory requirements.

We take reasonable steps to restrict access to children’s personal data to personnel who require it for legitimate purposes.

Future Academy operates multiple official websites. Our websites may also contain links to third-party websites and services that are not operated by Future Academy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
