For students who want to challenge themselves beyond the mainstream curriculum, we offer Math Olympiad and DSA preparation classes for primary school students.
Our Math Olympiad programme is designed to engage students who love math, logic, and puzzles. These classes go beyond textbook problems, introducing them to advanced problem-solving heuristics and engaging math puzzles that stretch their thinking. As part of our programme, we also help student prepare and register for competitions, where they can earn accolades that enhance their confidence and build impressive portfolios for DSA applications.
In our targeted DSA preparation programmes, students receive tailored coaching for entrance tests and interviews on top of academic guidance. These sessions help them polish their skills and articulate their strengths effectively, setting them up for success.
While the GEP programme is being phased out in the coming years, we remain committed to supporting current GEP students and those in other advanced learning programmes.
We understand that high-ability learners often think differently and ask deeper, more complex questions. That’s why we provide differentiated classes designed to meet their unique learning styles and pace. Our experienced GEP tutors work closely with these students to nurture their intellectual curiosity while guiding them towards achieving academic excellence.
For exceptional learners who display rapid progress and strong subject mastery, we offer the opportunity to join classes a year above their current level. We see this especially amongst IP students and more so in language classes like our IP English tuition classes. For some of these students, learning is not just content or exam-focused, but on honing their skills – which a higher level programme serves to push them towards.
We work closely with parents to assess whether this accelerated pathway is the right fit for the child or teen. While we avoid placing undue stress or unrealistic expectations on young learners, we recognise that advanced classes can sometimes provide the stimulation and challenge they need to thrive.
