This year marks a milestone one for Future Academy, as we head towards the opening of our third tuition centre in Singapore. Let’s take a quick recap to see how Future Academy has grown since its inception before we reveal more exciting details on the new centre.
Future Academy’s 1st two centres
Did you know? Future Academy’s first tuition centre officially opened in Bugis in 2015, meaning it has been 6 years since then. Then, in 2017, our Bukit Timah branch opened its doors to students, marking our tuition firm’s 2nd outlet.
Thanks to the convenient location close to popular schools like Nanyang Girls’ High School, Hwa Chong Institution, National Junior College, Raffles Girls’ Primary School, Methodist Girls’ School, St Margaret’s Girls’ School, Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School, amongst others, our second centre at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre has grown from strength to strength and is often bustling with students.
But time and again, we have wondered how we can make our tuition services even more convenient and accessible to more students. And finally, it’s time!
Our third centre: Braddell
This year, Future Academy will be unveiling its third tuition centre in another popular location – in the neighbourhood of Toa Payoh and Braddell! Our new centre will be located within the Onepeople.sg compounds, a community hub strategically planted within close walking distance to the MRT station (Braddell), making it easy for students to commute to and from tuition. Currently, the site is scheduled for renovation works and we hope to be able to welcome students by October 2021.
We have put a lot of thought into selecting an area that is well-connected to established schools in the vicinity, which includes Raffles Institution, Raffles Girls’ School, and Catholic High School. As such, students from these schools will no longer have to make the lengthy trip down to Bugis or Beauty World for their weekly tuition sessions at Future Academy.
Continuing the signature brand of ‘High quality, small group tuition’ that Future Academy has held for years, tuition classes at the new Braddell centre will likewise be conducted in groups of not more than 6 students to 1 tutor. Similarly, the calibre of our tutors will remain high, as we stay steadfast in partnering only with highly experienced tutors and former MOE teachers who have demonstrated strong teaching abilities.
Our tuition offerings span primary school to junior college levels, with some niche offerings like dedicated classes for IP subjects and Math DSA training classes. Some of our most popular classes remain our IP Math and IP Physics tuition classes, taught by our founding tutors Ms Yvonne Chen and Mr Jason Lau.
