Results Round-Up: Celebrating Our Jan-Jun 2022 Achievements

We’re nearing the mid-way mark of 2022, which means it’s also time to look back on some of our student achievements this year! From small improvements to stellar results, we want to celebrate them all.

Results of major exams

Earlier this year, all the results for major examinations – O Levels, A Levels, and IB Diploma exams, were released. We have many students who scored exemplary results, including:

• Multiple students with 7 and 8 As for O Levels
• Multiple students with rank points in the 80 to 90 range for A Levels
• Multiple students with 42 to 45 points for IB Diploma

School assessments

The first half of the year spans school internal assessments like the weighted assessments (WA) and topical quizzes. Although they may not be as high stakes as the end-of-year exams or national exams, they are still instrumental in cementing students’ foundations. The key here is consistency, so that the problems don’t pile up later in the year.

So, we are glad to see our students taking things seriously and working conscientiously to achieve commendable results for every class test and WA!

Math Olympiad

In May, we also received exciting news of the SASMO results release! SASMO stands for Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad, and it is a popular Math Olympiad competition open to global students and teams.

From our small group of Math Olympiad training class students, we managed to bring home 3 Golds, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze, meaning that more than half the class achieved awards!

We applaud our students’ tenacity and passion for math, even as math olympiad is not part of their core school activities. With these results, we are confident they can achieve more as they continue to build up their skills and partake in more competitions!

Conclusion

As Singapore is gradually getting back to normal – albeit a ‘new’ normal, we are also seeing more students come back to physical classes. Our tutors are excited to see more of our students in real-life again, and continue building up a strong rapport to make learning fun and conducive for them!
