Our A Level 2025 Highlights: Results & Improvements
It’s once again time to celebrate the achievements of our students — this time, for the 2025 GCE A Level examinations!
In 2025, a total of 10,977 candidates sat for the GCE A-Level examination. Around 94.7% of candidates achieved at least three Higher 2 (H2) passes, reflecting the strong performance of students nationwide.
This year’s cohort also experienced an important change in how results are calculated. It is the first batch of students to have their University Admission Score (UAS) calculated out of a 70-point system, instead of the previous 90-point system. Under this revised system, the 70 points are derived from the grades of three H2 subjects and H1 General Paper, while the contrasting subject and/or Mother Tongue will only be included if it improves the student’s overall score.
Our Students’ Excellent Results
For many students, the A Level examinations is a huge step up from the O Levels or IP exams that they have experienced in secondary school. With less than 2 years to study for it, doing well at the A Levels is no easy feat.
We are incredibly proud of our A Level tuition students for their outstanding performance this year. From impressive grade improvements to perfect 70-point scorers, our students have truly outdone themselves.
It is our honour to have been able to journey with these students, from when they were lacking in confidence, struggling with the foundations, and feeling lost in their studies – to students who can overcome challenges, approach their studies with confidence, and have the results to show for it!
We also want to commend our team of JC tutors at Future Academy who have worked hard to support these students. The hours of preparing curriculum materials, and patient coaching has definitely not been in vain!
