Physics exam papers are a blend between content and application. Plenty of questions requires using formulae and calculations, much like a math paper. So, to do well in it requires more than just textbook knowledge – it also requires exam skills like speed, accuracy, and good presentation.
We spend a good portion of class time going through practice questions, demonstrating the thought process and highlighting important answering skills like question analysis, identifying keywords, presenting workings clearly, and avoiding careless mistakes. Our aim is that students will learn to tackle novel questions confidently and logically, even under time pressure.
